Voice / Audio Room limitations

Limitations of Voice Only/ Audio Only Rooms.​

You can also conduct Voice only calls in video rooms, but discounted pricing will not apply when conducting voice only calls in video rooms.

If you want to use various features that are not available in Voice/ Audio Only rooms, you can create a audio meeting in normal rooms and use those features.

Individual streams Recording​

Individual streams recording is available in Voice Only / Audio Only rooms. You can record, download and delete audio streams in Audio Only rooms.

In Voice Only calls you cannot start a video meeting​

If you are in the middle of a voice only meeting, you cannot add video in that meeting. If you wish to conduct video meeting in the same room, you will have to end voice only meeting, then disable the voice only room setting and start a video meeting.

Composition is not available in Voice Only / Audio Only meetings​

You cannot compose a audio only meeting. Composition is only available video meetings.

Recording composed meetings​

As composition is not available, recording of composed meetings is also not available

HLS Live Streaming​

HLS Live Streaming is not available in Voice Only / Audio Only Rooms

RTMP Out​

RTMP Out is not available in Voice Only / Audio Only Rooms.
